About

Hi, I’m Hannah! Welcome to my website — Feel free to take a look around.

I’m currently a Research Assistant I at the Computational Neuroscience Laboratory of Boston Children’s Hospital, advised by Dr. Caterina Stamoulis. I leverage large-scale adolescent neuroimaging data from the ABCD study to shed light on the development of neural circuitry in the adolescent brain.

Before coming to Boston, I worked with Professor Maya Rosen and Dr. Catherine Mikkelsen at Smith College on the application of motion correction algorithms to functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) neuroimaging data from young children.

My research interests lie in combining neuroimaging and computational modeling to understand affect, learning, and decision-making in the brain. I’m especially interested in applying computational modeling techniques towards applications in computational psychiatry.

I am passionate about improving the accessibility of science (especially computational neuroscience) for the general public through science communication and outreach.

Outside of neuroscience, I enjoy taking dance classes around Boston, writing book reviews on StoryGraph, and trying new recipes.
